I work for a small auto glass company, and I have a customer with a 1985 GMC G-series Rally STX. He broke out the rear tilt out glass on the passenger sliding door. It has the privacy tinting. My glass supplier has no glass for it, the dealer says the part is obsolete, and scouring junk yards all over the country, either the vans have been crushed, or the yard won't ship glass. I need to find a replacement, as it is winter here in upper Michigan and the crash wrap isn't much protection from the elements. any help would be appreciated

Can you not just have a piece of safety glass cut to size and send it out to be tempered? Tinting an be added after......
