Default G20 issues - Brits in NEED. HELP!!!

OK so here it is.

We have a 95 G20 v-8 5.7 van. We have been traveling around for the last few months in.

2 days ago 4 things happend.

1) ABS light came on
2) speedo stoped working
3) Trans wont shift out of first gear (will shift to 2nd manually)
4) millage counter stoped moving

We took it to the garage and they changed the VSS which did not solve the problem.
They seem convinced now it is the VSS Buffer?? (or maybe called VSS Calibrator)
It is a small white box just above the parking brake, apparently it is recieving signal from the VSS but not sending it to the main computer and obviously not to the Transmission, ABS etc etc.

If this is the problem we have a BIGGER problem....where on EARTH do we get one of these?? They seem to be discontinued and can't find anything on the web about them.

We are suppossed to be driving to Cali in a few days (seem unlikely) from CO

Any help would be amazing

thanks

Callum

This might have come to late, but I know this is usually a connector that gets knocked/loose behind the battery that causes those symptoms
