oil pump help on 2000 express 3500
I have no oil pressure on my 3500 5.7L. Trying to find out how to change the oil pump because I am unsure. Do I only have to drop the oil pan and I will have acess to it or is it located else where in or on the motor?

yes you have to drop the oil pan. Not sure about your van, but the crossmember might be in the way to do it in the vehicle.

Ok because there isn't many videos about it so going in blind. I've looked at a couple of threads on here about it but they weren't about a 3500 it was 1500 so just wanted to make sure before I dropped the pan to realize it was somewhere else. Thank you. It died on me one day while I was driving and it was low on oil. It showed no oil pressure so put oil in and changed the oil pressure sensor hoping it was an easy fix. Do you know how much of a pain it is to change the pump by chance?
