Default OK I'm new here but...

It seems to be very common on this forum (not just the Express forum but the entire group of sub forums) the for people to ask for help with a problem and then not have the courtesy to follow up when suggestions are given to let the people who tried to help them if they got their problem solved.

I belong to quite a few forums including several motorcycle, a few snowmobile, contractors forums, etc. and the people who ask for help seem to always take the time to let other members know if the suggestions worked, cured the problem or not, etc. I assumed it was common courtesy across most forum based help sites for the person being helped to at least acknowledge the people helping them that things worked out?

Yeah I would call that common courtesy. It is just a good thing to do too.
What is your question though?
