Is anyone on here familiar with the 199 Express 3500? Mine is a Quigley conversion.


Last week the power lock feature (pushing the button on any of the doors to open them all) stopped working. I have checked the big fuse relay on the front right (facing) of the engine bay. And I've checked the fuse panel in the lower left of the driver's side.

Still can't find the fuse that controls the power locks. Anyone have any hints on where or what I should now look for? I was hoping there was another fuse panel I'm missing.

I was studying this a few weeks ago on the newer vans. There should be a master fuse under the hood and then individual fuses under the drivers seat. Now this is for the newer vans like mine. Your's? There shouldn't be any more fuses, but they may be in different locations.

If the fuses are good, I would start tracing the power from the hood backwards. You should be able to find schematics online for your year, or at least your build years. There shouldn't be anything different even if it's a cut-away, conversion, cargo, or passenger.

Check the relay. Also make sure none of the switches are stuck....i had some cargo up against a switch once and it froze all them from working....

The only relays I see are under the hood and there are none that say Power Locks.
I think there has to be something I'm missing.

I'll take some pics and post them tomorrow. Maybe it'll help someone ID it more.

I've already checked to make sure none of the locks are jammed.

Here is my van and the two fuses boxes I have found. One is on the lower left inner driver's side. The other is the right side (facing) engine.

Check that 25 a power acc fuse.

25 amp power door lock / accessory fuse keeps blowing - 2002 GMC Savana 1500

Do you have any other power options not working besides the locks?

All my other accessories work fine.
I checked the 25 amp fuse and it works fine. I have checked pretty much all the amps in these two fuse boxes.

Did your power locks ever work? Perhaps that van was modded for an After Market Keyless Entry? Then someone either broke or removed the After Market part.

You can go here, pay $5 and you can look at all the schematics you want all day long for that van and others.

all the power locks worked as of last week. Then without notice they stopped working.

Time to start chasing wires. Pull a switch out of the panel, and see if you can test it for power and ground. Use a jumper wire from the battery or from the fuse panel to se if you can cycle them.....etc.
