Default Removing side mirror glass?

So my work van was a 2008 and now I'm in a 2011, and I absolutely hate the "zoomed in" mirror that the new one has on the passenger side. Anybody know how to remove just the upper glass without breaking the mirror itself so I can swap the old one in its place?

The convex side mirror is pretty common. However, I would take it to a glass shop, because finding the right size in normal glass may not be too easy.
Mine fell off...lol...while my wife was driving the van for the first time.....she was not impressed....
It looked like the silicone job to put it on was done by a backyard mechanic.....and it was cheap to have professionally fixed.
