Searching for Curtains / Ideas
Hello everybody,
I would like to install in my GMC Savana (SWB) curtains, which are attached both up and down and can be tightened, if necessary. Does anyone have an idea how to fix them? I could sew them by myself, but I do not have any ideas how to attach them the easiest/best way. If I make screws in the plastic, they certainly do not hold much traction ... Does anyone have ideas? When taking blinds out of a conversion van at the junkyard to put in my van I found a label so I kept track of the name. https://unitedshade.com/ They have how to videos.

Hello Jimmy,
Thanks for the link, but I'm not looking for blinds. I'm talking about a simple attachment that is sturdy enough to hold a tensioning rope for the curtains. Do you have an idea how to attach the brackets firmly? |
Can't you just drill a hole in the plastic, thread an elastic cord through, and tie a knot on the end?

Hey Joe ...
yes, but without knowing if it is stable enough or if it will break off. ;) I think of such a rope per window, but the pulling force on the screw should be quite big, so I'm worried that it rips out.It just keeps on something plastic. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/chevrol...af00434543.jpg |

I try and live leaving no trail, so I'd suggest maybe silicon suction cup thingys (technical term) on the glass. Full disclosure, that's not what I did, but I went for blackout shades that only go up when camping.
