Here is our new to us 2013 Chevy Express 2500 Paratransit Van. It was a wheelchair van and we had the dealer remove the lift. Now we are busy gutting the interior, including removing the wheelchair floor, and raising the metal roof cage to gain head room, and turning it into a camper van.

As we bought it.

As we bought it.

As we bought it.

Lift removed, and wood between rails being removed.

Roof gutted.

Floor rails almost completely out. They were welded in. What a pain.

I have it since 1996,

275/60/15 Wheels on ARE 8"

My wife airbrush the wheel cover

Little bit proud of the chevy Lumilogo in frontgrill

Modified speedounit. It was too dark for me. Made ruondup 4mm holes and installed a led-stripe...

Installed a Alpine IVA-D 511 with a MRA F355 Surround amplifire

Top switchpanel with surround middlespeaker...

My van and I had a lot of fun the last years....

Rusty front axle..

Changed with a overhault part...

Sandblasted

With new paint ...

We are the first, replaced frontaxle and engine still mounted ?

These steeltubes hold engine up.

New frontaxle intalled

New frontbrake

Had to change rear spring bushings

New painted. New bushings.

Sandblasted gastank.

New painted gastank.

In background 3,5" stainless exhaust. Gastank, rearaxle installed.
