Hi everyone, I could use some help with fixing the sliding door on my van. There is an awful lot of rattling coming from the top hinge. I looked at it and didn't see any obvious loose parts, but didn't get too far into it yet. It needs to go to the shop for a Stabilitrak issue any way and I can have them look at it, but thought I'd try it myself first if it could be an easy fix. Here's what I can tell you...door still opens and closes fine. Rattle can be quieted significantly while driving just by wrapping a towel around the upper hinge. My best guess is that gravity is keeping it quiet when opening and closing, but once its latched the slop in the hinge is free to rattle away while driving.

I'll be back in town tomorrow and can take some pics if anyone thinks that would help.
