Default Transmission Question (4L60e)

Hello everybody...
a friend of mine has a 4L60e from 2002 and one from 2003, which I would like to use in my VAN, because my Tranny needs to be revised.
He said, that if my Transmission had an "input speed sensor", the swap would not work. Do I have such a sensor?
And could a 4L60e from 2002 or 2003 easily install in my VAN from 11/2006, or are there any problems?

if my VAN has an ISS or not, I do see at the latest, if I lie underneath the VAN and see the plug. In the model year 2006, there was probably transmission WITH ISS and which WITHOUT.
My question is, IF it does NOT have the ISS, the 2002 or 2003 Transmission fits, or if another converter is needed, or or or ...
