2017 Express 4500 does not display tranny temp, where can an aftermarket sensor be installed? 6.0 eng. & 6L90e tranny. Thanks in advance,

Some people here have the trans temp available, including me with my 2008 Express 1500, check through teammuir1's thread "Best up grades done (1 2 3 ... Last Page)
Teammuir1". You will read about getting a ELM327 scanner, and the Torque Pro app, on your smartphone or tablet, read through the few pages of discussion, 16-24 and 33-45, and you'll get an idea of what we've done. Any more questions, I'm sure members will chime in.

We should have started a separate thread on the ELM. And I just did a search. Nothing came up, as far as a thread dedicated to it.

Yes, a $5 Torque Pro app and a $8 ELM327 Mini from Amazon will display you a ton of useful (and useless too) information, along with transmission temperature.
