Default Weird Brake light problem

Hi guys, need some help quick! Got a repair ticket for no brake lights.

1997 Chev express van brake lights don't come on when pedal pressed. It also takes out the rear running lights if they are on. Including the third upper light.

With the hazards on, the hazards work, but the brake lights do not work. When running lights on they work, but if you press the brake, they go out.

Thanks,
John

check all the grounds and bulbs for shorts.
check your fuses too.
If your brake fuse is out and an 1157 bulb has shorted inside....you could get running light power going to the brake lights and they all go dim. Crazy stuff happens.....

Done all that today.

I did hear about a wire junction behind the driver side rear wheel. But I haven't got to it yet.
