Why is spark orange and not blue

I', have restarting issues does't want to strat after being shut off. Noticed the spark seems strong but is orange. I thought the spark should always be blue. Could this be my problem?

fuel issue

Well today I replaced everything in the ignition system nothing, then tried starting fluid and fired right up. just replaced the fuel pump last month and ran and started great for about a week and then this started. Maybe bad fuel pump?

did you replace the fuel pump with a new one? VERY rarely do you get a bad fuel pump out of the box.
Did you replace the fuel filter at the same time? if not, do it asap

Fuel pump was replaced about 2 months ago and filter about 3 months ago. I just checked my pressure and it was at 60 and van started right up, waited a few min. and turned to the key on and was at 55 and started right up waited again for a few min and was at 40 and van didnt want to start. Does this mean I got a bad pump?

Bad pump or regulator.

you are loosin AMPS check the coil & wires, there is a fuel filter cartage on the body and the carb, cap & rotor. if all is correct you have a ground thats draining your alt output. spark should be white. I had to put a 100 AMP alt (stock 46 AMP) in my 2 G30 454's. If you do have a short and the block is hot ...no they do not like to restart but that usually happens only when its hot.
