83 g29 wiring diagram
Hi, just joined up, heres my first cry for help.. ha...
I have just imported a 1983 Chevy g20 Zimmervan from the Usa to Australia. I am doing the Mods to get it registered here. I am looking for a genuine wiring diagram that covers the exterior lamps in order to bypass the brake lamps blinking as indicators. Any ideas? I have a couple of manuals with diagrams but I need more detail.
thanks Matman.
Great site, I saw the Vin Id page , cool I thought but it doesn`t work.I tried and tried but nothing..

Hey.
I have a Haynes repair manual that is 25 bucks to buy. Its number 345 and it covers chevy gms vans 68 thru 95. Page 330 has the diagram you need.
Might be just as easy to order the manual.
It looks like there is a shared brown wire that is the side marker light and the tail light, then a green wire that is the brake/turn.
To separate the brake from the turn you will likely have to go back to the fuse panel and re run the turn or the brake from there.
