Default Ignition switched power source for adding power windows?

Have a basic cargo van, without power anything. I am in the process of adding power windows.

I have an add-a-fuse kit that I was planning on using, but can't really find any high enough amperage circuits to tap into that are switched with the ignition.

Anyone know a fuse that I can tap into that is switched? Or is it possible to add switched power to one of the many empty fuse holes?

Have you checked any of the terminals in the unused fuse locations for power?

Yeah, haven't had much luck there. Most don't have power at all, or if they do, it's constant on.

Is it possible to add switched power to those unused fuse terminals?

EDIT: It's a 2013 Express

I added an auxiliary fuse panel behind the drivers seat with a split bus. One side is always hot and one side is ignition hot. I fed it from the main panel under the driver's seat by adding a fused leg onto the main battery post. The ignition side of the bus is fed from the same leg, but controlled by a relay that is triggered with ignition voltage. I did this for all of my add-ons, it's cleaner and keeps me from having to tap into factory circuits. Here's my original post about it:

I pulled the driver fuse box and took it apart. I could certainly add some circuits if I could find the correct terminals to solder on.

My particular fuse box has 2 relays which appear responsible for switching power on. One for when the ignition is in the run position (K1 - (HC MICRO) RUN) and one for when the parking lamps are on (K3 - PRK LAMP(S))

For my purposes, I need a fuse connected to K1.
These are the fuses connected to K1:
F13 (HVAC 2) blocked by add a fuse
F14 (HVAC 1) most likely blocked by add a fuse
F15 (Empty) Doesn't exist, would probably work if i could find terminals to solder on
F19 (CMPS) I have an add a fuse on

and for future reference, these fuses are always hot:
F9 (OSRAM SW)
F10 (Airbag/AOS)
F11 (OnStar)
F12 (Empty)
F20 (RDO/Chime)
F21 (RFA/TPM)
F22 (IGN SW (DLIS)/PK3)
F23 (I/P Cluster)

And these are controlled by the parking lamps relay:
F3 - AUX PRK LAMP(S) (Cutaway)
F4 - FTR PRK LAMP(S)
F5 - TRLR PRK LAMP(S)
F6 - UPFTR PRK LAMP(S)
F7 - RT REAR PRK LAMP
F8 - LT REAR PRK LAMP

I was able to pick up a spare fuse board from a pick your part junkyard for about $10. I was able to add terminals to: F1, F6, F12, CB1, F17, F18, K5, K6, F33-F38

Unforunately, I didn't think to pick up extra relays. So far only F12 seems to be working. I probably need to add extra relays to figure out how everything works. I'm also curious how the K6 RAP relay works.

Looking around, it it seems someone has done this before: https://chevroletforum.com/forum/exp...-2500-a-96746/

However, the links aren't working and that member hasn't been online since late 2022.

I think I like VanKo's solution a lot more than monkeying with my PCB's
