Greetings to all.

I am writing to seek some advice regarding a future vehicle purchase. I am considering placing an order for a 2027 truck once they become available. Specifically, I am looking for a Silverado 1500 or a Sierra 1500 in a crew cab short bed configuration.
Currently, the specific features I want are available in certain models but are difficult to find in the inventory typically available on the lots. I am interested in ordering a vehicle with specific items that are often tied to package deals, such as a factory lift (no more than 2 inches), roof marker lamps, and power trailering mirrors.
I am wondering if anyone has experience ordering these types of less common items as standalone options rather than as part of a larger package.

Any advice or insight you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,

Louis

2016 Malibu Limited LS, Hi all, my Malibu was sorta a spare car and has had roughly 200 miles put on it since 2022. car has a total of 113,000 on it. I keep a battery maintainer on it. wife's Altima's transmission took a bowel movement. so, transferred tag to Malibu and getting it up and around as she is commuting with my HHR, my baby.. the Mailbu's radio, HVAC controls stopped working or lighting up or displaying. and the door lock switches on the door panels also stopped working at the same time. the radio still plays and the volume and tuner controls on the steering wheel still works the radio. Radio control panel does nothing. the door locks, all work with my FOB, the on star works, I can command All components of the HVAC system to work with my scanner. I took it to the dealer as they still have it. last night I was thinking, the car has been sitting with a battery maintainer on it. Im now wondering if the Auxiliary battery in trunk is dead, it's 1 year old but not sure if it's staying maintained with just the charger hooked to the main battery under hood. if it is dead, would it have effect on my Electronics in the car?? my scanner also pulls codes from the HVAC module, says it cannot find a program (software).. so this is the reason I took it to the dealer to see if a program is what it needs. they will be looking at it this monday. but.. will a dead Auxiliary battery cause the electronics problem??.Im a pretty good size dude, getting in and out of this Malibu is breaking my back and neck ,can't hardly get in & out of it. I want my HHR back and wife into her new car, the Malibu as I retire the Nissan to the great metal recycler in China

Hello all, I have a 1997 Chevy Suburban 2wd c2500 with 61,000 original miles and my brakes stick every time I stop abruptly. I've changed out the booster pump, the master cylinder, changed the brake lines to breaded, the calipers, rotors and pads and still they stick. So, this is what happens. I'm driving at 40 mph and hit the brakes like a child has run in front of me. I want the truck to come to a complete stop as fast as I can. When the truck completely stops then I lift my foot off the brake and the pedal comes back to normal position, but the brakes do not release. I have to tap the brake pedal real hard then it releases. any suggestions? call me if you like (863) 266-1324, Hunter

Hey everyone. Recently rebuilt an '88 Camaro 305 to go in my 78 280Z. Different, huh? Anyway, The engine backfires through the intake manifold (blowing gas out the top of the carburetor. I tripled checked the timing (including pulling the timing chain cover) and confirmed the distributor was pointing to #1 cylinder. I even removed the intake manifold & valve covers to visually see if all the valves were closing. I didn't pull the camshaft (though I probably should have) when I replaced crankshaft and connecting rod bearings, but noticed the engine has roller lifters. Did Chevrolet use roller lifters in 1988? Do you think the cam could be causing the backfire issue?
I have the engine on a run stand. The engine got hot and cooked the main bearings. I think the oil pump went out.
I'm a bit frustrated at the backfire issue and am interested in any opinions about what it might be. Kinda like another set of eyes.
Thanks in advance for any and all opinions on what the problem might be.
