Exclamation '07 Avalanche blowin' a P0521 code-HELP!

Have a '07 5.3 Avalanche blowin' a P0521 code. Engine smooth, no leak detected. Also tire code when times are fine. Bad sensor/pump? I'm thinking sensor. Help needed! thanks!

I would take it to the dealer either the oil sensor is bad or oil pressure is abnormally low. Isnt it still under warranty?

Same problem, used 3 qts between oil change. Changed switch 3 months ago and complained about oil consumption. Poor GM response, this time I didn't add oil between changes. Got GM attention this time. They flushed the engine and my oil pressure is 170 kPa or 24.5 lbs. GM is going to pull oil pan and check cam shaft and oil pump. Will keep the result posted.

Similar issue. We have an '09 Avalanche with a 5.3L J-type (LY5) -- had this same type motor in an '07 Silverado which had the Oil Pressure sensor issue and Chevy didn't have a resolution for it back then (2012-2015). Bought this truck with 172K miles back in 01/2016, she now has almost 286K (114K in 8 years). Had the Oil Pressure sensor replaced 2/15 of this year, then had the Oil Pump replaced 3/21 of this year, been driving it since and then last night the low oil pressure issue started up again, so this morning the mechanic replaced the Oil Pressure sensor (2nd time this year) thinking it might have been a bad sensor. After letting it get to temp at the house, and the mechanic giving thumbs up, hubs drove it 26+ miles when it started throwing P0521 again. Oil levels have been perfect the entire time, we use Fram's XG10060 with Quaker State Full Synthetic 5W-30, level checks a couple times a week, and oil changes every 5K. She's solid and runs quiet (cant tell it's idling), this is the only issue that we are aware of and about to have hubs put a manual oil pressure gauge in her, as I don't trust this computer stuff. This is driving me insane, so can anyone explain or have any suggestions? No sarcasm or disrespect please. Help?!
