Chevrolet Forum - Chevy Enthusiasts Forums - 07 monte carlo ss not starting

Okay so, I started my car and drove it for about 3 miles. Reached my destination and when I arrived I sat in my car for about 10 minutes with it running. I felt a rumble from under the car and about a minute later the service traction control light came on. I put it in reverse and the light went off. Parked it and went in to the building. 30 minutes later I came out and it will crank but as soon as it turns over it will kill it. I tried charging the battery and it didnt work. Attempted to put starting fluid in the carburetor and it does help a little bit, but it still dies in less than 2 seconds even with continuous nonstop spraying of starter fluid. Help!
it is a 2007 Chevy monte carlo ss.
