2005 Chevy Silverado Blowing Cold on Drivers Side
I have a 2005 Silverado with dual climate control(manual). When I turn on the heater the drivers side only blows cold while the passenger side will blow hot. Does anyone know what the problem could be? I have read it could be an actuator.

I have a 2003 Silverado and that happened to me two years ago. It is manageable in the winter but not in the summer as I found out. What my problem was the heater control module which is the part that you adjust the temperature and fan speed and heat settings from. Easy to replace but I think the part is around $200 or more. Hope this helps.

Its a shot in the dark but some have had success disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and see if the unit will reset....

No wonder GM is making a profit!
The earlier posts about this problem said the cost of the plastic actuator was around $70. Now this one says the price is $200. I priced one at my local Chevy dealer today and the price was $268! I found an aftermarket (Dorman) for $99 on Amazon which I will probably order tonight. I've done "resets" until my battery cable is worn out.
