2008 Chevy Tahoe LTZ electrical issue

The taillights, turn signal and backup lights are not working correctly or at all, drivers side works fine but the passenger side is acting very strange.
Went to the chevy dealer and they changed bulbs in the brake lights but that did not fix the problem. anyone have any suggestions?

It turned out to be broken and rusted wires that ran to the taillight assembly, thankfully it was fixed quickly and only cost $276.00, could have been worse.

Did you find out what broke the wires and why they were rusty? The problem whatever it is needs to be corrected so it won't happen again on either side!

When In asked the service guy on the phone "what caused this to happen"? his response was "It's a 2008", so I guess the younger generation thinks a 10 year old car is obsolete. He then explained that the mechanic would attempt to wrap the wires to prevent it from happening again.
