350 Rebuild
 

I have a 54,000 mile 350 out of a 1971 Chevrolet C-20, one owner since new. It has been removed anticipating an engine rebuild. Although it ran well in the truck I want to repurpose it to a 63 Belair or a 62 Corvette. I have a set of remanufactured 202 heads I would like to use. I would like guidance on a rebuild that would possibly include a roller cam, aluminum intake, with a result of a 300hp power range. Would piston replacement be required to increase the compression ratio ?
