4.3 Head Swap
 

I have a (1986) 4.3 non balance shaft Engine code N with 4 barrel carb with cracked block. Non vortex

I want to swith the above (1986) heads and carb onto >>> 4.3 (1989) block non balance shaft engine code Z with TBI & no vortex.

I want to remian with 4 barrel and realize I need to either drill for fuel punmp rod or an electric pump. Not sure about if the (1989) cam shaft will need to be replaced if no mechanical pump lobe?

Is ther another forum which may be better to make this request?
