92 chevrolet 3/4 ton 4 wheel drive
 

my truck will run fine for awhile then it will sputter and die. Ive changed the fuel pump and filter thinking that might have been the problem but it staqrted doing it again today it ran fine all weekend but died again today i think it might be something electrical because the tach will jump up and down before it dies but the motor doesnt rev up when the tach goes up does anyone have an idea of what it might be?

Maybe it needs a tune up...? :confused:

Some mid-90s Chevy pickups had some serious ignition switch failures.

Could be related to a number of different sensors. Hard to say without more info.

I'd start by testing the crank sensor, cam sensor, etc.

How long after it dies will it start back up?
