blower motor
Specs 2008 chevy cobalt 4 door 2.2 litter problem on my motor blower the pig tale went bad(burnt) so I replaced it with a new one and now it doesn’t work at all the wires are hooked up correctly but just won’t blow I checked the fuses they r good not sure if there is a fuse for it under the hood or not but idk how to check the relay that’s in the interior fuse box question 1: does any one know how to check that relay? question 2: what else could be wrong with the blower motor? the ac kicks on because when I turn the switch on the compressor kicks on please help thanx the 1st pic is the new pig take and the blower motor and the 2nd pic of the under hood fuse box https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/chevrol...09524485f.jpeg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/chevrol...cc7c4b76c.jpeg |
Swap the relay with another one, I think those are all the same.

“Update” i swapped the fuses under the hood for 2 other ones and it blows but it barely blows anything out I checked the cabin filter and it’s fine |
Possibly the blower motor resistor. Try putting 12 volts to the blower motor directly to see if it runs at full speed.
