Cam Bearing Help!

Hey all, I’m new here and have spent some time looking but it seems the internet doesn’t have much info to give on SBC cam bearing I stallation. And if it does I haven’t found it.

A buddy and I got a mystery 350 sbc from a guy cleaning out a garage. He didn’t know anything about it’s he let it go for $500. Turns out it had a Eagle crank and rods, KB pistons, good heads, and lots of other good stuff. It’s getting a full rebuild and will eventually see a turbo.

I know almost nothing about cam bearing installation so excuse any ignorance.
Block casting number: 3970010
Measured with a caliper journals are as follows:
#1 2.019
#2 2.009
#3 2.004
#4 2.004
#5

Have tried 3 sets of bearings now and they seem to either slide right through, or press in but then the cam won’t fit. Cam journals measure 1.868. The next investment will be a dial bore gage for better measurements.

Do do any of these numbers make sense? Am I missing something easy?
