gauge promblem?
 
I have a 03 tahoe and on my cluster my temp, and oil pressure gauge will not reset? when i start my car the gauges start from where they are as if they are at zero? so they are just going in circles, but other gauges are fine..any help will be greatly app. thanks

they have a tsb on that. gm will warranty the cluster until 70k miles. so if u r under that take it to the dealer.

im at 80,000? will they still hook me up? or will i have to buy a new cluster?

x2^ they have had a lot of problems with the gauges.

No, they will not honor it after 70,000, unless you have the extended warranty.

so basically when you put your key in the on position, all the guages go to their respective place, and then when you crank the car they go haywire and go way up?

no when i turn my key to the on position, the gauges are where they were when i turned the car off. then when i start it they go up even more as if the gauges we at zero? with no power the stop were they were before i cut the car off.

thats whacky - i would disconnect the battery for a while and see if they will reset

I couldn't find a tsb on your specific problem, but I would look at getting a new guage cluster. Chances are that it's the problem since you're having the same problem with two totally different circuits.

Ijust bought a new cluster that was used and it has 101,000 miles on it and my hoe only has 80,000.I called my local dealer and they told me that they couldn't promgram the miles on it to match my old one? Is that true? And for installation is all that i have to do is plug it up?
