Gonna start a rebuild 4.3L

I am picking up a 4.3l 262 motor this weekend. My truck currently has one in it but, i stumbled upon one on Craigslist with a transmission. I wanna do a full build and put a 200 shot of nitrous on it, or turbo. Wondering if anyone has done a build on one of these?

I can do the turbo EASILY, i picked up a set of SYCLONE headers about three days ago. Ill get pics of everything i have this weekend.

I will also be building a TH350 Transmission and 10bolt rear end for it.

Added:: I would like run TBI but can get a fuel injection kit and stand alone computer for it if the TBI doesnt handle the turbo set up. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Save the money you would spend on the turbo and drop a 5.7 in.

WHy a 4.3? I dont know. I have always been the guy to pull as much out of a tiny motor that i could. And, it is original. Everyone builds a SBC, no one builds a V6. And the turbo set up sounds like a good idea. I did surf Jegs and Summit, there is a lot more out there engine wise for a 305 - 350.

If im going v8 and gas guzzler, its going to be a 454.

heres the engine bay in my old ford.

460 - Bored and stroked to a 554, shaved heads Crane Cam, Weind Intake, Holley 995 CFM Carb.
