Help

Good morning everyone, on my 04 Chevy 2500HD 6.0 4x4, I'm getting a no crank no start. I changed my battery about two weeks ago due to an old battery. Drove for two weeks and went to start it and no crank no start. I noticed that when I turn the key to crank it, the lights go out in the dash and the headlights also. I took the starter off and had it checked, starter was bad so I replaced. Upon installing the new starter, still no start, no crank. I grabbed my scan tool and it comes with one code, B1372. I read up on the code and it says there may be a short to ground somewhere and in many cases it has a bad ignition switch. Info also said that faulty instrument cluster could cause it as well as trailer break control. So at this point, I checked fuses under the hood and there were too that were blown. 40 amp that says post and 10 amp fuse that says ignition. The 10 amp fuse is right below the starter relay. I replaced all fuses and checked the starter relay and the starter relay is good. So I unplugged the break controller and went inside to try to start it and the fuse popped on the 10amp ignition. I cleared all codes and replaced the fuse and I purchased a new ignition switch. I replaced the switch and as soon as i turned the key, the 10 amp fuse popped again. So that same fuse pops every time the key is turn forward. Can someone please help.

Good morning everyone, I just wanted to give some additional information. Well after trying the following: unplugging instrument cluster, checking for broken pinched wires on steering column, checking for broken/pinched/ frayed wires underneath the truck, after pulling the fuse panel under the hood apart to see if any plugs were burnt, I then begin to check the ground wires. I set up a test light on the ignition fuse that kept popping and wiggled ground wires, when I got to the one that connects to the fire wall and the back side of the motor, the test light started flashing. I then begin play with it more and the test light with out so out thought, but once I looked closer, it was still on but burning very dim. So I moved the strap because it was still tight and I could never get the light to go all the way out no matter where I put it. So I ended up making two additional ground wires but still the light would not go all the way out. At this point I just decided to try to replace the fuse with a new one to see what it does and it crank just fine. I turned off and cran several times. i put everything back together and drove the truck about 14 miles. I switched it off and crank it right back up. So at this point I switch it off and used my key fob to arm the security system/lock doors and went on my way. I came back about three to four hours later only to find that the truck was doing the same thing again, no crank/no start. I did not check the fuses to see if they were blown again as it was late at night. Once again, any help that any of you can offer please help.
