My '06 Cobalt DTC codes--what do I do?

My 2006 Cobalt LS Coupe (2.2L) check engine light came on recently, and the codes that appeared were:

P0411 - Secondary Air Injection (AIR) System Incorrect Air Flow Detected
P2431 - Secondary Air Injection System Air Flow/Pressure Sensor Circuit Range/Performance Bank 1
P2440 - Secondary Air Switching Valve Stuck Open Bank 1
P2444 - Secondary Air Injection System Pump Stuck Bank 1

The car has 53,000 miles and is still under the Powertrain warranty and the 80,000 mile emissions warranty.

My Concerns: Are any of these still covered under warranty?
What, if anything, will I have to pay for?
If it's not covered under warranty, is it something I can fix in a driveway with the regular tools a non-automotive type would have in his garage?

It should be covered under federal emissions warranty

Hi Stader,

Welcome to the Chevy Forums.

Take it back to the dealer, this time they should fix it free. You get to see how well your dealer is going to honor their warranty. I was lucky, my dealer did a couple of free repairs under warranty.

The only problem with warranty repairs, is if the problem recurs again shortly after your vehicle is out of warranty.

Example: My CD player broke down during my warranty period. The dealer replaced it free. Then shortly after my warranty expired, the new CD player also broke down.
