OBD II scan tools
 

Hey guys,
I need to get hold of a decent tool to read and clear computer codes. I also want the kind that will read the data stream, so I can check the operation of the systems. There are all kinds of scan tools available, at all different prices. What do you guys use? Should I get the kind that adapts to my laptop, or is a self-contained unit better? I need to decide pretty quick. My check engine light is on, and I want to get it fixed. Thanks in advance. Good luck and God Bless.

Untill you decide you can take it to an Auto Zone or Orileys Auto Parts and they will check your light for free. It will at least give you the fault and the code. As for what to buy I don't have one yet either. Do some looking around.
