Quick Question Blinker question
 

So any help with the below problem would be much appreciated.

I turn on my right blinker and everything works like normal.

I turn on my left blinker and my emergency blinkers come on.

Is this a troubleshooting action?

If not what may be the problem and how should I go about fixing it.

Chevy Tahoe 2003 LT 5.8L

the turn signal switch can do that when faulty.

Thanks for the reply. I figured it out the night I posted. Ripped the whole dash apart to find out that if tapped the lever it would switch between left turn and emergency blinkers. I replaced the part tonight and everything is working great.
