Removal of head unit from 2000 Venture
 

I was perfectly able to remove the face plate and unscrew the radio from its position in the console, but upon taking it out I noticed the power data cables and power cable were at two different sides of the radio. I am not very well-versed in removal of head-units, but it looked as if it were wired into the vehicle. Is there any way I can take this out without messing it up? I need to take apart the player and clean it because it has lost it's ability to read discs.
