Default Truck will not start

I have a 1993 Silverado, manuel transmission. I drove from home to work and when I left work I had to do a rolling start. I have battery power but when I try to start the vehicle it does nothing. There is no sound of any sort when attempting to start the vehicle. What could be wrong?

James, if you have "battery power", I presume you mean the lights will come on and the horn honk...like that.
This means that everything is working but your Starter, or the main cable running and connecting to it after any Solenoid, or the Solenoid it's self.

One way to check the Solenoid is...
Put the Parking Break on, put it in Neutral, turn on the Ignition.
Then with a single Jumper Cable, connect one end to the Battery Positive Terminal, and touch the other end to the terminal of the Cable which goes to the Starter.

If it starts, then you have a bad Solenoid*, and if it does not...
Try to make the Jumper Cable reach to the terminal on the Starter.
If the engine starts, you have a bad Cable,
If that does not start the engine, you should pull the Starter and have it check at an Auto Supply.

* = Other possible problems that may make you think it's the Solenoid are...
A bad Ignition Switch of the Start terminal (internal).
Bad/broken Wire from the Ignition to the Solenoid.
or,
Somebody covertly slipped the Start Wire Connector off of it's terminal or onto the Coil Boost Terminal of the Solenoid.
