Valve Spring calculation based on cam

Hello all,

Sorry if this is something that has been asked 5 million times, but I was unable to find anything related with a quick search.

I'm basically looking for the proper way to find the proper valve springs for the cam I have.

My cam is as follows(from summit description):
Hydraulic flat tappet
RPM Range - 2200/5700
Duration at 050 inch lift - 224 in/234 exh
Valve Lift with Factory Rocker - .465 in/.488 exh

This is in a chevy 350 with a .060 bore. I'm going to vortec heads and need to figure out what springs I need.

The truck use is for playing in the mud and general road use.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. And if I forgot any information, please feel free to call me an idiot and I'll try to provide what's needed. :)

A quick call to Comp Cams will give you an excellent answer that you can trust. They deal in that stuff all day every day and they really know what will and what won't work. 800-999-0853
