What are bubbles in paint from?
I had a single stage paint on my last chevy and after 6 months to 1 year I had tiny bubbles forming on the tops of all the fenders and rear quarters and some on the hood and all around on the trunk lid. Seems like most of it was on upper places and all. What is this ? has anyone seen this and have a really good thought as to what's causing it?? How do we prevent it from happening again? All thoughts and suggestions are welcome.

Two things about paint, CLEAN SURFACE, and no water. Do you have a dryer on the air supply?
|
too-thin paint coats also cause that
|
it was maaco paint , musta pissed the painter off lol

with toooooo many special requests

too thin huh, i'll be careful of that on next one I do myself.
someone actually suggested that greasy hands on the body may have caused that, unsure and all . |
dryer?? I am setting up a 30 gal air supply for all my future jobs , never heard of a dryer though, do inform me
|
hope the 30 gal is enough, 60 seems a bit too big for the occasional painter/etc.
