What muffler shops will do true duals on my 93 silverado?

I live in Michigan. I called Mufflerman and they told me they cant do true duals because they cant remove the catalyc converter because the law or something. In michigan they dont check for that stuff anyways. I know alot of people that drive around with true duals.

I was thinking about flowmaster 40's.

you'll have to get 2 cats... thats the only way they will do it.. you could get high flow cats..i plan on doing that here soon.. my advise is to buy them on ebay..tell the shop you already have the cats you just need them welded in....... im in ohio and the shops around here wont touch a car or truck that doesnt have a cat..and i even know a guy who owns a shop..he still wont touch my truck if it had no cat..something about he could get fined or maybe his shop closed..i cannot remember now..

or you could buy an off road exhaust kit, or find a backyard guy with a bender

It is a $10,000 fine for any shop that removes a converter.
