Wheel Fitment Question

I have a '97 Tahoe. I just bought new tires for the factory 16" wheels but now I want to buy new wheels. My question is can I get a wheel that has a higher offset to get the wheels to stick out a little farther and still use my new tires. I want a more aggressive looking stance. If so what wheel specs should I be looking for?

how wide and tall of tire did you get?you probably had tires mounted that were set up for the stock rim which i think is fairly narrow....what size wheel were you thinking of getting to mount the tires to?

Talk to a shop that sells rims.

The offset is listed numerically, "0" being neutral.
