wont start
 

im stuck. i have a olds cutlass that just stopped working. when i turn the key the nothing happens i have tried a new starter but nothing happened. it didnt even click.

sorry its a 1970 olds cutlass wt a 350 rocket.

When you turn the key on do the dash lights come on?
If so, have you tried jumping the starter?

yeah the lights r on.yeah i tried jumping it wt a screw driver just to see if it would kick on but nothing

When you turn the key to the start position due the dash lights dim or go out? If so you ether have a bad battery or a bad connection to the starter.
