tire pressure monitor
My 2009 HHR tire pressure monitor tells Onstar to send an intrusive message about low tire pressures. The tires are not low. It is as bad as the "check engine" lights I've put up with for more than 15 years without ever anything being wrong with the engine. The $70 or more reset charge every month or so is an unfair tax imposed by all auto manufacturers. The cars will not pass inspection if a tire pressure or engine alarm is present even though nothing is wrong with the tire pressures or engine. How can we legally disable these monitors without the necessity of taking up arms against auto makers and their political supporters.
