03 impala a/c

i have an 03 impala. the driver's side a/c vents put out warmer air by 15 degrees, while the passenger side works as normal at 55 degrees. recognized the problem as 'hvac side to side temp. difference'? would the problem be fixed by the climate control circuitboard or under the hood?

RE: 03 impala a/c

Could be the climate control unit, or a bad actuator that controls the temp on the drivers side

could you be more specific about what the bad actuator and the climate control unit are?

the whole unit that has the heating and air on it

The are 2 temp blend doors on the heater box, and actuators(or motors) that open and close them depending on what the HVAC control unit tells it to do. If the HVAC contorl unit is telling it false info, it won't work properly. Also won't work properly if the motor itself is bad

did you figure out your problem?

my 01 Impala is doing the exact same thing.
