Got code p0341 camshaft sensor problem... Where is it located and how do I get to it? What tools do I need?

3.5L? The CMP sensor is located on top of the cam gear (front of the engine, along the center line). One mounting bolt keeps it in place. The electrical connector has three wires:

RED wire carries 5V REF
BLK wire carries ground
BRN/WHT wire carries the sense pulses to ECM

I was told under the p/s pump and that I'd have to remove the pump to get to the sensor is this the area where you mean its at?

Yea I have the 3.5l

Yes, you do need to remove the power steering pump to gain access to that sensor on your vehicle.:(
