2000 Impala transmission problems
 

My 2000 impala 3.8 lt motor is having transmission problems. It is kicking hard into gear, it is delaying in shifting, going slow, it goes up to 3500 RPM before it will shift, and continues this through out gears. Also the speedometer is all over the place and not registering right. I put transmission fluid in it as well, it wasn't really low but did look black. From my personal experience with auto transmissions, something tells me this one is on it's last leg. I spoke with my dad tonight and he said it was possible that a vacuum hose came off the trans. Where can I locate this hose to check it out? Thanks.

It is also making a whining noise
