Thanks a lot. I saw and removed the clip on the side closest to side of car but did not see the one on the in side. My hands were freezing since it was 20 or lower.

Yeah, I just took my driver side headlight housing off for the first time the other day after having my '03 Impala LS for almost 10 months. I saw the clip closest to the quarter panel but the other clip was hiding under the little black plastic cover to the left of the headlight housing. Once I saw it, it was a snap to get off and back on. The fog light easy super easy too. I was amazed at how easy it is to get to the headlights.
I just got done replacing the headlight on my GF's '92 Astro. HAHA.... a 5 minute job for adjusting the headlights turned into an hour job. The stupid adjusting screw clip broke. Then after buying 4 more at AutoZone, one of the new ones broke. I used a 2nd one and the threads on that one stripped out. HAHAHAHA!! In the end, I got it to work. At least some things as time went on got simpler even though the engines themselves got more complex. hehe
