Description of the Complaint:
The contact owns a 2014 chevrolet impala. The contact stated that while idling at a stop light, she took her foot off of the break pedal and attempted to drive but the vehicle would not move. The contact depressed on the accelerator pedal with force until the vehicle moved. The contact the took the vehicle to dealer but they were unable to determine the cause of failure. There were no repairs made. The manufacture was notified of the failure but they did not provide a remedy. The failure mileage 14,000. Lg

what is the theory behind not having it engage at every Park selection then releasing in drive or R?
we can set our locks to do fancy things. our HVAC, why not something so 'critical' as a parking brake
