Default 62 Impala SS - voltage regulator

Hi all! I'm new here and came to ask you a question about my inherited '62 Impala SS passed down to me by my grandpa.

It has a parasitic battery drain that I'm trying to correct. First up for replacement is the voltage regulator.
I bought a new one from Hubbard's Impala Parts and it took over a month to arrive because it was a made-to-order part. I do have AC and CC which is why I chose this part.

The problem is that this part has fewer terminals (only 3) than the one I'm replacing (has 5). This is the second one that I bought (from a different vendor) but returned because it also only had 3 terminals.
The Shop Manual also shows 5 terminals. So what is going on here? Are both vendors just sending me the wrong part?? Or is there a different way of wiring this that I should know about?

The 62 Impalas with the deluxe all weather AC came with a 42 amp alternater and the 5 terminal regulator PN: 1119502. This regulator was only used on 62 models and is no longer produced. I have found NOS ones on ebay in the past. GM came out with a wiring kit in about 1965 to adapt these cars to the 3 terminal regulator that was introduced in 1963. The conversion kit is: Delco Remy D1904.

Glad to be of help. One other part that is different on 62 and early 63 cars with aluminum powerglide. The vacuum modulator is different than the later ones and will not interchange. If you have a 327 V8 in 62 you got the aluminum powerglide. The 283 and 235 six had the old iron powerglide. Many parts books do not show the difference.
