Towed a trailer and survived!

My MIL has a 2007 Impala with the 3.5. She moved to Colorado to be close to us. So she sold her home and possessions and put whatever she didn't want to get rid of in a 5x8 Uhaul trailer. I flew out to Michigan to drive the rig back to Colorado. The trailer empty is about 1,000lbs and she had another 700lbs in it probably, plus myself (200lbs) and her (170lbs). She paid around $250 to have the hitch/wiring installed, which included the ball mount, etc.

The rear sunk down more than I liked, but never had any issues with the tires rubbing. Tounge weight was probably 150lbs or so, I had a hard time lifting it up, needed another person to help.

I drove the 1200 miles between 60-65mph and the tranny in 3 (no overdrive). Averaged about 15mpg, going from 500' to 6000' in elevation didn't help. The outside temp was around 10F, engine temp gauge never moved from middle. Everything seems normal, don't think anything is broken. :)
