In the Supplement Infotainment System manual (and Navigation Radio) for the 14 Impala, on page 32 it says "The SD card reader is for audio and video playback."

Has anyone got video to play back? The end of the manual mentions DivX, but not the format recognized (.avi, .mp4, etc.)

Yes I watch videos all the time.
