just a little tip to a more effective way to increase the gas mileage and performance of the transmission. gear vendors is the #1 way to go. their gear splitting technology turns the th350 and other 3 speed trannys into a six speed transmission, and the 700r4 and other 4 speeds into an 8 speed. when 4 wheel drive is engaged, the device is turned off and the old transmission is back to 3 or 4 speeds. good for in the mud and on the road. little pricy but cheaper than a drivetrain swap
