05 malibu classic radio locked
 

I installed a cd player with the 5 disc changer option from a 2003 impala in my 05 Malibu classic., the impala radio is locked. my radio does not have the cd changer option but the connector fits and the impala radio turns on and displays locked. I tried the push options 2 3 or 1 3 or right seek and 5 options but nothing happens., how can I unlock the radio..?

the radio must be reprogrammed to unlock the radio. hopefully you car has the correct build options for the radio to work properly.

any idea how to do it without going to the dealer
