Engine Reduce Power Message
 

I have a 2004 Chevy Malibu Maxx. I went to start it this morning and the engine light , maintainance and traction control light came on. The panel had a message Engine Reduce Power. I didn't know what that ment. I put the car in reverse and it started to go then it stopped. I cranked it again to get it back in the parking spot backwards and had to start it 2 more times to get it parked. I started looking the message up online to see if it would be an easy fix. I found one person to stared to turn it off and on and the lights will go away. I tried that and all but the engine light went away. So I drove it around the apartment complex and it did alright. The engine light is still on. Is is a fuse or something I can fix on my own for little to no cost or do I have to take it in to a dealership?
